Agendas What is a meeting agenda? How & when is the
meeting agenda prepared? Is there a deadline for sending
in agenda items?

Yes & no. While you may submit agenda items at any time, in order for an item to be considered for a particular meeting, please send it to the Leadership Council at least 8 days in advance of that month's meeting. Unless time permits, any items received after that will be considered for the following month's POWER meeting. Is there a criteria for agenda items? Yes! Please keep in mind that agenda items for POWER meetings should be relevant to POWER's mission & overall goals. In addition, when time is an issue, those items which directly relate to current and/or ongoing POWER activities have priority over new items. Who should send in agenda items? ANYONE! That said, while anyone may submit items, priority is given to agenda items submitted by POWER members in good standing (those who signed this year's member card & paid what dues they're able to), active participants in POWER committees, and members of POWER's Leadership Council.
